When a Woman Becomes a Mother
Mothers are considered as one of the most important members of the family. They symbolize the light inside the four corners of a house. In a family, the source of strength and courage comes from the father while the mother is the source of love and care. Mothers are willing to suffer anything for their family. They are the one who is responsible in taking good care of their family. The task of being a mother is not that easy as you think. Before a woman submits herself to a man’s life she must accept first the fact that any time in the future she will become a mother. It is said that a woman is just like killing half of her soul as she gets married. Yes it is true. It is where commitment and love are found. When she gives birth to a child, she will now become a mother. You have to adjust to changes in your life. This means that you are to surrender your old role before giving birth to a child. Just like, for example, a woman that loves to go to parties and hanging out with friends. After she gave birth to a child she must limit or totally eliminate the activities that she had been doing before she got pregnant or during her pregnancy. This is because the mother must allot enough time for her newly born child.
Time management is vital in a newly formed family. The mother’s love and care will be inherited by the child as early as after birth. It is believed that the mother and child bonding started at the time when the child is still inside the womb of a mother. Bonding with the child and mother is also vital in forming a new family. It is the time where the relationship is first formed. With a strong bonding, the foundation of the relationship between the mother and child is strong enough to last for a life time. The role of a mother does not end from there. Taking care of a growing child is another challenge that a mother is going to face. When a mother already established a good initial relationship at birth, giving discipline to the child will be easy. A mother’s role in a growing child is to fill him or her with good values, good manners, and to help the child in adapting to social cultures, beliefs, and traditions. Giving enough time to the child is very important. There are mothers that are too busy in the office, to the extent that they don’t have the time for mother and child bonding. This is a growing problem in a family. If this is not managed on time, in the long run the child cannot relate to his or her mother and vice versa.
When there is no good bonding with the mother and child each one of them can hardly understand each other. In this case, family conflict will arouse and managing a problem will be difficult.
This is how mother and child bonding are important… Aside from the need to have a good connection to one another, there are other problems that mothers are expected to experience. This includes maintaining the love and care. The child must feel the loving care of a mother. Without it the child will lose the sense of love and belongingness. This will also lead to the child’s insecurity. As the child grows up, he or she will develop low self-esteem. Mothers must make sure that they will give the best love for their child. It is believed that the love and care given by mothers are unique and special. This is very much true. No one can imitate the loving care that mothers had given to their child. As mothers gave their best for their child in return the beloved child should give back love to his or her mother. As you can see it is just like a cycle, and it is very much important to have a good connection with each other. This will make a mother feel that she is loved and valued.
